This blog post will guide you through how to shop with us during the COVID shutdown.
As some of you may already know as of Thursday, Nov. 13th, the province of Manitoba will be put under a shutdown for COVID-19. This means that our stores will no longer be open for customers to come in. No need to worry though! You can still shop with us whether it be picking up at a store or getting it delivered to your door.
Our website takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Email Money Transfers as payment, we have you covered with these payment options!
During this shutdown we are going to be doing same day delivery on weekdays within the city of Winnipeg, this means if you place your order on a Monday before 3pm we will bring your package straight to your door but please have ID ready to present to the delivery driver. Please make sure you choose the shipping option "Same Day Delivery Within Winnipeg". Please note that if you placed an order for same day delivery over the weekend you will get your order the following business day on Monday. If we can't fulfill your order the same day for any reason we will notify you and let you know when to expect your order. This will be a $12 flat rate, if you spend over $50 it will be free!
Please note for Same Day Delivery, if you are not available for delivery when the courier arrives your order will be moved to the closest Flamingo location and you must pick it up. You will be notified via text message if this happens.
To place a pick up order just follow these simple steps:
1) Gather all products you are wanting to purchase in your cart
2) Check out and choose one of five of our locations to pick up from in the shipping options
3) Once you've received the "Ready for Pickup" email head on down to the store
4) Once you've arrived call us at 204-219-8787 (2 for Main, 3 for Osborne, 4 for Pembina, 5 for Portage, and 6 for Brandon) and let them know you've arrived to pick up your order with your order number (ex. ORD01234)
5) We will bring it to you and request identification.
You can also phone ahead with your order and pay in store, to do this follow these steps:
1) Make sure you know what you would like to purchase
2) Phone the location you would like to pick up from.
3) They will let you know how long it will take, from there you can head down to the store
4) Phone the store you are waiting outside of and let them know you are there to pick up an order that was set aside.
